Landing in Skull Town and finding 3 white shields, six shield cells and P2020 is a common phenomenon for many players. On the other side of Skull Town, the stacked Predators team found two blue shields, a purple and a Havoc with a level 3 stock. The imbalance in the loot is the determining factor in the fight to come.
Many have complained about the lack of loot available in King’s Canyon, and Respawn has updated the loot pool to include more items in a recent fix. However, it’s still common to encounter less loot than you would expect, especially when looting large areas such as Thunderdome, Airbase and even through locations in World’s Edge.Apex Legends Season 5 Is Delayed By A Week, End Of Season 4 Features Game-Changing Battle Armor Event
The Battle Armor event is Respawn’s first step in testing the number of changes in the loot pool. By giving everyone white armor, during the first part of the event, the armor is removed from the pool. Hopefully this leaves more room for guns and other precious loot. You will also fall with a P2020.
During the event, Blue Armor and Purple Armor will be in the spotlight, and you can expect intense fights at the start of the game as everyone tries to blow up Purple Armor with a P2020 drop.
Finally, and perhaps most interestingly, Evo Armor will be the only armor available in the game at the end of the event in the period preceding season 5. This could be a game format that will change the game. Each player begins with Evo Armor and must increase the shield by inflicting damage – there are no blue shields, purple shields, only Evo.
